Play nowBuilt around how you are actually playing, not around a counter
Viviana Arcade collects 100 free browser games that run straight in your browser. Nothing to download, nothing to install, no account to create. Press play and the game loads on the same page you are reading. When you are done, close the tab.
Everything is filed under 14 categories — arcade, puzzle, shooter, adventure, racing, sports, horror and more. Every category page you can reach from here actually contains games. Where a category is empty, we do not publish a page for it, because an empty shelf is not worth your click.
Most game libraries order their shelves by whatever number the database happens to hold: a play counter, an import date, a star average. Those numbers cannot answer the only question that matters when you open a games site — what should I play right now? Three spare minutes at a bus stop and a free evening at a desk call for completely different games.
So we build our own curated sets around situations instead of statistics: games you can steer with one thumb, games that finish inside three minutes, games with no countdown clock breathing down your neck, seasonal games, and a deliberately separate set for the loud, fast, high-impact stuff. None of those conditions exist in the raw catalogue data. Someone has to open each game and decide, and that someone is us.
We do not paste the promotional blurb that ships with a game catalogue. Each page is written from scratch and answers what a player actually wants to know before pressing play: how the game is controlled, whether it works on a phone, roughly how long one round lasts, and what mood it fits. The Thai version of every page is written separately as well — it is a parallel piece of writing, not a machine translation of this one.
We would rather finish the writing game by game than publish a hundred hollow pages at once. Games we have not written up yet are still fully playable from the library and category pages; they simply do not count as finished content pages until the writing is done.
The layout works from 360 pixels wide upward, every control is reachable with a thumb, and nothing pops up in front of you before you press play. Our speed targets are real numbers measured on real visitors' devices, re-measured on every release, rather than a feeling.
All games here are HTML5 titles operated by third-party developers and providers. What belongs to this site is the selection, the structure, the categorisation, and every line of text you are reading.
Viviana has three front doors: the categories, the curated sets and the search box. Pick a familiar category, open a curated set if you have no idea what you feel like, or search a title directly — search understands both Thai and English. Games you heart are kept in the favourites list on that device, and whatever you played last is waiting on the home page under continue playing.
We play every game ourselves before it goes into a set, and we write down the rule that put it there.
