— Reservation Policies —
Dinner seatings are Weds - Saturday from 5:00 - 8:30pm, with the restaurant closing at 10:30pm. Please note, I know that Google says we close at 8:3opm, that’s just to note the last seating time—please don’t be deterred from booking at this time, you will have plenty of time to dine and we’d love to see your faces!
Brunch seating are on Sundays only between 10:30am - 1:30pm, with the restaurant closing at 3pm
As we are a smaller space and team, we only allow large parties of six or less (and we do not split groups between tables). We find its the best way to enjoy our food and service, as well as keep space available for our lovely locals and regulars! If you would like to book a party of 5-6 people, please call or email directly to inquire. Parties of 5-6 people are subject to a 22% applied gratuity.
We now offer reservations at the bar proper, but we always keep some bar seats and the counter open for walkins, first come, first serve!
You will see on Resy, we ask for a credit card to complete your reservation. This is mainly to avoid no-shows on the day of. If you need to cancel, we just ask you to call in the day before to do so. Cancelling on the day of will incur a fee of $25/person. Of course, if it’s an extenuating circumstance we will not charge ya. You will be marked as a no show if you are more than 15 minutes late for your reservation, so give us a call is you are running behind!
Most of our guests are able to seamlessly book via Resy.com, but if you are having any issues feel free to give us a call. If you have any doubts, please know that you with ALWAYS receive and email confirmation once you successfully book a table on Resy. If you do not have an email confirmation, you did not successfully complete booking and we will not have a table waiting for you. Feel free to reach out with questions.
Lastly, give us a call if you don’t see a spot on Resy, we may have a secret spot available!
Patio Dining
Enjoy the wrapped and covered patio year round.With three heaters and a fully sealed area, its often warmer than inside!

Vivian is located in the River Arts District of Asheville, just south of Downtown. We’re surrounded by wonderful artists, if you’d like to check them out, note that most close around 5pm. We’re technically walkable from downtown, but it gets pretty hilly so I’d recommend the 5 minute drive! We have free parking in our lot across the street marked Pink Dog Creative, as well as unmetered street parking.
— COVID SAFETY —
Our restaurant is equipped with an ionizing filtration system in the HVAC that kills 98% of pathogens. We have outdoor seating on the patio for those who don’t feel comfy inside just yet. The patio offers an open air dining experience with coverage in case of rain, fans for hotter days, and heaters for chilly ones. Well behaved dogs are welcome to join!
Our team is all fully vaccinated and diligent about keeping everyone safe. We always sanitizing thoroughly between guests with CDC approved sanitizer and conscious steps are taken to reduce touch points.
